Alayna Rakes is an internationally published makeup artist and hair stylist serving the fashion and entertainment industries. She divides her time between New York and Philadelphia.

It was Alayna’s stage experience that led her to a career in makeup and hair styling. A multi-instrumentalist and classical singer, she began playing with stage makeup for operatic productions during her college years. Before she knew what had happened, she had developed her talents to become a successful makeup artist, primarily working in print, editorial, and advertising. Alayna has also worked on corporate video, runway, and tv/film with clients such as Billie Jean King, the Goo Goo Dolls, and ANTM winner Jaslene Gonzalez.

Her clients include Warner Bros. Records, Fashion Bug, Motherhood, Kohl's, Free People, Campbell's Soup, David's Bridal and Faint, Poco (China), Chaos (US), Fault (UK), and Fiasco magazines. She is available for travel nationally and internationally.
